The UX Researcher plays a pivotal role in uncovering deep user insights that inform product strategy, design decisions, and feature prioritization. This position designs and conducts both qualitative and quantitative studies—interviews, surveys, usability tests, diary studies, and analytics reviews—to surface pain points, validate hypotheses, and guide cross-functional teams toward user-centered solutions.

Working closely with Product Managers, UX/UI Designers, and Engineers, the UX Researcher translates raw data into clear, actionable recommendations. Findings are synthesized into personas, journey maps, and research reports that drive roadmap decisions, improve user satisfaction, and ultimately increase product adoption and retention.

In this role you will also advocate for research best practices across the organization, mentor junior researchers, and help establish a culture of continuous user validation. Your work will directly shape the user experience and business outcomes for both web and mobile platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute mixed-methods studies (moderated interviews, unmoderated tests, surveys, field visits) to explore user behaviors and needs
  • Recruit, screen, and manage panels of users, ensuring representative samples and high engagement
  • Analyze qualitative data (thematic coding, affinity mapping) and quantitative metrics (task success rates, time-on-task) to identify trends and opportunities
  • Create personas, customer journey maps, and usability reports that clearly communicate findings and design implications
  • Present research insights and strategic recommendations to stakeholders through workshops, slide decks, and interactive prototypes
  • Partner with analytics teams to integrate product telemetry and A/B test results, closing the loop between research and performance data
  • Establish and maintain a repository of research artifacts, methodologies, and best practices for team reference

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 3+ years of professional UX research experience in B2B or B2C digital products
  • Expertise in qualitative methods (interviews, contextual inquiries, usability testing) and familiarity with quantitative approaches (surveys, analytics)
  • Proficiency with research and testing tools such as UserTesting, Optimal Workshop, Lookback, or similar platforms
  • Strong ability to synthesize complex data into compelling narratives and clear, design-actionable insights
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with experience running cross-functional workshops or design sprints
  • Familiarity with prototyping tools (Figma, Sketch) to illustrate design hypotheses and research findings
  • Understanding of statistical concepts and basic data analysis (SPSS, Excel, R, or Python) is a plus

Success in this role is measured by the impact of research on product decisions, improvements in usability metrics, and the degree to which user-centered insights drive measurable business value.
