The Marketing Automation Specialist is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the automated workflows that keep your demand engine running smoothly. This role ensures that every prospect is routed, scored, and nurtured in the right sequence, delivering the right message at the right time. Working closely with Marketing Operations, Demand Generation, and Sales teams, the Marketing Automation Specialist enables scalable, personalized engagement across all stages of the funnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect multi-stage nurture streams, lead-scoring models, and routing rules in platforms such as Marketo, HubSpot, Pardot, or Eloqua
  • Integrate third-party systems (webinars, chatbots, analytics) via API or middleware (Segment, Zapier) to centralize event and engagement data
  • Develop dynamic content blocks, tokens, and custom scripts for advanced personalization and segmentation logic
  • Monitor data hygiene, platform health, and compliance with privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA), troubleshooting issues proactively
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports in BI tools (Looker, Tableau) to track campaign performance, funnel metrics, and ROI
  • Document workflows, runbooks, and best practices; train marketing and sales teams on automation capabilities

The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of hands-on marketing automation experience, a strong technical aptitude for integrations and scripting, and a data-driven mindset. Success in this role is measured by the uptime and accuracy of automated workflows, improvements in lead conversion velocity, reduction in manual campaign tasks, and the overall contribution of automation to pipeline growth.
