The Brand Marketing Manager owns the development and stewardship of the company’s brand identity, guiding how the brand looks, sounds, and feels across all channels. This role crafts positioning and messaging frameworks that differentiate the organization in a crowded market, ensuring consistent application of visual and verbal brand standards in marketing campaigns, product launches, and corporate communications.

Working cross-functionally, the Brand Marketing Manager partners with Creative, Product, Demand Gen, and Sales teams to weave brand narratives into every customer touchpoint—from digital ads and social media to events and sponsorships. They also manage agency and vendor relationships, overseeing creative production and ensuring on-brand execution.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Brand Strategy & Positioning
    • Define and refine brand pillars, value propositions, and messaging hierarchies for target audiences
    • Conduct competitive audits and customer research to inform brand positioning and campaign themes
  • Creative Leadership & Governance
    • Develop and maintain comprehensive brand guidelines (visual identity, tone of voice, usage rules)
    • Oversee creative briefs, review design and copy, and ensure compliance with brand standards
    • Manage relationships with external agencies and freelance talent to scale creative production
  • Campaign Planning & Execution
    • Plan and execute multi-channel brand campaigns—digital, social, video, OOH, events—that build awareness and preference
    • Coordinate with Media and Demand Gen teams to integrate brand-focused creative into performance programs
  • Brand Health Measurement
    • Design and field brand tracking studies (awareness, consideration, preference, NPS) and competitive benchmarks
    • Analyze survey and behavioral data to identify brand strength and areas for improvement
    • Present brand performance insights and recommendations to executive leadership

Successful candidates combine strategic vision, strong project management, and storytelling prowess. They measure success by improvements in key brand metrics—unaided awareness, brand favorability, Net Promoter Score—and by the consistency and impact of brand expression across all marketing efforts.
